​Paul Johnson, founder of JCD, graduated with Honors from the Kansas State University Architecture Program. Paul worked for several years as a Project Architect for HOK Architects and BNIM Architects in Kansas City, MO. Before creating JCD, he worked for JE Dunn Construction as a Project Manager on the Kansas City Performing Arts Center. Paul’s education and professional background in both design and construction greatly contribute to the success of every project.

JCD was officially founded in April of 2010. Even though our business was created during economic hardships, we have been able to find success and have had continual growth. This success and growth is a result of our custom designs, quality of work, and attention to our clients’ desires.
